Describe your first 'crush'. What was the person like?
I was in 3rd grade and this boy's name was Jeff, I think. He lived down the street from us - far enough that he was not our neighbor - but close enough that we took the bus together. I remember that he stuck up for me when someone said something about me on the bus. So after that I started to like him. :-D I sat close enough so that we could talk sometimes, but mostly I was shy and quiet so I didn't say much.
When I fell off the seesaw and broke my arm, he was the one that came over to see if I was ok. I was all sprawled out flat on the ground, and probably my arm was at a weird angle. I was dazed and starting to go into shock, and he was the one I asked to go get the teacher.
I don't know what happened to him. I guess I grew out of that crush and ignored him after that. :-D
If I had a crush on a boy in grade school, I don't remember it. There was one boy I liked and I used to go to his Little League games, but that wasn't at crush-level. I didn't swoon over him or daydream about him or anything like that. In high school, crushes came and went very quickly and none stand out. That surprises me, since I sometimes feel as though I'm supposed to have placed more importance on those things and therefore remember them vividly. I don't.
I do, however, clearly recall my first 'celebrity' crush. Bobby Sherman. I drooled over him on Here Come the Brides
, bought every teenybopper magazine I could get my hands on and read them over and over and over and over and over, thought I had died and gone to heaven when my parents bought me his first album, and generally spent every waking minute thinking about him. Maybe I don't remember other crushes because that one was so huge?
lol that should be one of the questions - celebrity crushes. Wow. Lessee...David Cassidy, Andy Gibb...those were my two. haha It's been a long time since I've heard of Bobby Sherman.
Yep. I had a few brief David Cassidy moments here and there after Bobby Sherman, and I did think Andy Gibb was incredibly good-looking, even though I was past 'massive celebrity crush' stage by then. Donny Osmond fell in the middle there somewhere, too.
Celeb crushes are fun, although it's kind of disturbing to see the extent to which some adults take them.
I remember this like it was yesterday! It was 4th grade and his name was Jimbo. Yes I said Jimbo. He was really short, really tan and really cute. His smile was to die for. Nothing happened any further than a crush. HMmmmmmm I wonder where he is now:) I'm kidding. I thought that was bad until I saw the post of the third grade. I didn't feel so bad after that:)
Hey, dl_steph's below was in KINDERGARTEN...soo. haha
My first crush was in kindergarten. I probably had people I "fancied" before that, me being me, but I don't really remember anyone before Jason.
He was a funny, sweet kid. He had curly brown hair that his folks kept cut in a flat top, big blue eyes, freckles, and a grin that melted my little heart!
We played a fairly typical first crush kind of game. I would try to kiss him, and he would run like hell! He always stayed just a couple of feet out of my reach - which meant he wasn't really running too fast at all. And when I got tired he'd stop, let me catch my breath but dodge if I made a grab for him
, then dash off again! Every now and then he'd let me catch him!
I never saw him again after kindergarten. I think his family moved that summer.

I can't even really remember. Ummm.......I didn't have a crush on anyone at school because I hated them all lol! But when I was 14 I had a crush on some guy in Australia for a while, he was totally hot. Tall, black hair, green eyes, eyebrow piercing, pale skin, good sense of humour, always totally chilled out. Just a cool person. Oh yeah, then I ended up going out with him which was fun, but we split up after 6 months which kind of sucked lol.
his name was john stickney and i was in first grade. i don't think i even ever talked to him... :-P
I was in kindergarten & I had a big crush on the "milk boy" who would come around to each classroom & drop off the crate of milk for lunch time. His name was Jeff & he was in 9th grade! I had a crush on him all year.. lol..
I remember he had curly blondish brown hair & I used to think that was hot! =)
